In the final hour of the build, I decided to further push the design envelope by adding custom CNC milled butterfly \"suture\" inlays in the checked areas of the slab to stabilize them and echo some of the copper details on other areas of the piece.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eDesign time totaled 3.5 months between our other projects and \"normal\" orders, in which I made pattern templates, and distilled the final design so it could be replicated and available for our customers.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginal Design by :: Robert LaRow\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Details:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions of Photographed piece:104\"L x 36-41\"W X 29:H\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLive Edge Claro Walnut Slab, sourced from northern California, with stunning deep chocolate browns and some reddish\/purplish tones. Smaller holes and inclusions were stabilized with dark tinted epoxy.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLeg system is crafted from 8\/4\" solid walnut with a sculpted mid century modern inspired leg system and plugged with solid copper rod.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHand rubbed oil finish, finished with matte topcoat.
